Secondary Tuition (KS3, GCSE and IGCSE)

Secondary tuition throughout the year for students in subject specialism: KS3, GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, & Physics), GCSE and IGCSE (Biology, Chemistry, & Physics), AS Biology, and A-level Biology. All exam boards including- AQA, Edexcel, CIE, OCR, and scheme of work covered in accordance to the national curriculum. For students requiring additional support, reinforcement of key concepts of topics and scheme of work, bridging and closing any learning gaps,  new topic introduction,  confidence boost in areas students find difficult,  going through exam questions and exam technique, going through all Physics equations with methods and visual formula triangles, adopting different teaching strategies and learning styles as each individual student learns differently.

Additional subjects also tutored include: Maths (KS3 and foundation, English (KS3 foundation and higher), History (KS3), Geography (KS3, higher), Religious Education (KS3)and Citizenship at (KS3). All exam boards covered.

For example in English language and English literature at HAF tutors we will help the student with understanding the plot, characters, quotations, themes, creative and transactional writing and exam technique, key linguistic terminology, reading and comprehension, synthesis and comparison of texts, technical accuracy of spelling , punctuation and grammar and unseen poetry.
