Mr. Hafeez Jeraj

I am an experienced, approachable, fun and enthusiastic  professional science tutor and educator who has been tutoring science for over 12 years. I am a qualified Optometrist and  Audiologist with clinical practice and have a broad scientific and educational background. I have a PGCE in teaching secondary science with subject specialism in Biology and have full qualified teacher status (QTS).  My life outside of my professions is very active. I enjoy playing a wide variety of sports including tennis- which I play at a competitive level. I also go to the gym to keep my mind and body relaxed. I also strongly believe in balance between work life and family life. I enjoy building strong rapport with the children, having a laugh and instilling the love of Science.  I do not give up on children and am strong believer that every one can reach their dream, if given guidance and encouragement.  As a tutoring practitioner I provide an academic, pastoral and mentor role, helping children build self esteem, self awareness,reach their true academic potential and boost confidence. I provide a warm, nurturing,  comfortable environment which allows the student to have independent learning and grow academically.
